Krispo Chicken

Excited to see Paramount filling a niche here with quality fried chicken in the halal space. This truly is restaurant level fried chicken and not just fast food. It was good to eat fresh chicken and not be turned off by the fat and grease. The Nashville sauce and spice had a kick and were packed with flavour. The sandwiches here are unique to any other chicken spot. The portion sizes are massive and I was not able to get through my full sandwich after having a chicken piece. Side notes, the fried mars bar and mac & cheese were good surprises and are excellent sides. It is expensive, especially when ordering for an entire family. The sandwich price is reasonable for what you're getting but I'd like to see family deals for larger chicken sandwich orders and reduced pricing for the sole chicken pieces which are very expensive. A premium for quality is expected but prices can be trimmed. The ability to not have a side with every item to reduce cost would be appreciated. Otherwise I'd see me eating this more so on rare outings then regularly. I'd like to see this expanded to more paramounts and I hope they keep up the quality!

First time eating here and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a spicy 2 pc w/ waffle fries - everything was flavorful & finger-licking good. This was a great introduction & I will definitely eat here again!

We ordered the chicken sandwich, spicy waffle fries and chicken tenders. The burger was really good. We really loved the spicy waffle fries. Chicken tenders lacked flavour, but it was nice and crispy and probably good with a nice dip. We did get garlic sauce, which went really well with the waffle fries.

Absolutely delicious or Krispolicious rather as their motto says. I am a big fan of fried chicken and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised that amongst all the pop up places recently in Torornto - Someone has done it right. We ordered the wicked chicken sandwich with Jalapeno corned bread and the slaw. This is truly one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had both north and south of the border!! Going to be trying their deep fried Mars bar and chicken bucket on our next order. Great job guys - You got chicken right !!

It's a very good chicken sandwich. It has a nice big piece of meat and not too much batter; just enough to make it crispy. It has a very good spice level and also a sweetness. They leave the skins on the fries which I've always loved and I would have this meal again.

Since stopped going to Popeye's, always on the lookout for a solid chicken sandwich. QuikChik came very close to it, but the flavour and quality of this chicken sandwich was amazing. Chicken breast piece was a great size, crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside and surprisingly juicy for a breast piece. Went with the mild version to actually taste what the chicken was like. The bun was in perfect proportion to the sandwich as well, even though I felt I was getting more sandwich at either Popeye's and QuikChik. But the sauce they use is very flavourful and different from other brands. Two critiques, the mayo was a little on the heavy side and therefore overpowered the chicken at times, but will stress to use less the next time around. 2nd was that I ate it too quickly as it was really good. The waffle fries - spicy version - was a good touch and they give a proper amount so you don't waste nor feel overfull trying to finish it. Highly recommend trying this. Sir Fakih, you did it again old chap!

Very good chicken sandwich. I ordered it with a “wickit hot” heat level. It was hot but a good balance between sweet and spicy. I wish there was a spice level between “wickit hot” and mild. For $9.99 - you get the pictured fries and sandwich.

If you haven’t tried this yet you are missing out!! Add a bucket of Krispo’s Fried Chicken to your bucket list - it’s delicious! This is my #1 pick! I’ve tried every fried chicken sandwich in the city & believe me - this is the one!! *If you’re like me go for the spicy Why does it taste so good? I found out it’s all prepared in house & never frozen! You can taste the difference in the freshness & satisfaction with every bite - it’s truly lovely and battered to perfection. Also, if you have a sweet tooth add the Deep Fried Mars Bars to top it all off - it’s a must!! This is comfort food you won’t regret!
